Can anyone recommend any arm exercises I can do to make my upper arms look better and tighten my bingo wings?
I want to shape them up in time for the summer clothes :encouragement:
So far I have use dumb bells, but they are getting a little boring.

Great title:applause:
There are a number of really effective arm movements you can do the give definition to your arms. Although definition is limited to the amount of fat you have on your arms.
The trainer that use to work out with Madonna had a killer exercise, if I can remember her name I'll post it up.

It's Tracy Anderson, she does a 10 min (ish) arm workout, by moving her arms in different directions... Looks easy, but don't underestimate the burn:ykies
When I first did it, I was worn out by the warm up:doh

Have you tried one of those Bars?.... they look like a javelin, and you hold it out in front of you and wobble it. I believe this offers a killer burn.

I think that anything that brings blood to the surface of the skin helps to tighten skin. Try exercise and salt scrubs.

Are you kidding me!! Thank you for the ideas, I have spent a little time with Tracy Anderson recently and I can tell you, she is a beast!
do not be fooled by her tiny frame:eek
This arm workout is gruelling and not for the faint hearted, however, don't let that put you off, this is an excellent workout if you don't mind feeling the burn:beaten:

I agree with Dannij, salt scrubs are the way forward. bring the blood to the surface of the skin with vigorous rubbing, you'll find your skin will tighten overtime and glow with health.
but lets be honest here, you are not going to achieve toned arms if you have a thick layer of fat over them. So, diet is always the key to thinning them out.

I'm shocked:ykies, surely you are not suggesting that jade26 has a 'thick layer of fat' around her arms

The summer has arrived and with it comes the summer dresses....well, today was enough for me to realise something needs to be done and fast! There I was waving visitors off, when something cause he my eye flapping in the wind:ykies I was mortified to realise it was my arms. I quickly went into tense mode, to try and take up any loose skin.... this failed, so here I find myself 'bingo-in mad'.
Thank you for sharing, I hope these exercises will do the trick and save me from my summer disaster.

Brilliant! And you are not alone, my arms look less than toned at the moment, so gave these videos a try, Tracy Anderson video is just too hard for me at the moment, although I am sure the results would be amazing. The yoga one is quick and easy, I don't have any resistance bands, so I just use dumbbells for the moment. I can feel the burn. I'm up to 30 seconds each movement.
Wow, that exercise is really effective, I felt the burn and realised how weak my arm muscles are. :encouragement:

I have committed myself to the yoga for arms video for the last couple of weeks now and I'm really impressed with how it is going, It takes barely anytime from my day, and I can feel the burn every time I do them. It is still early days, and I have missed 2 days so far, but I can see a difference already. I definitely recommend anyone having a go, committing to doing the exercises daily, it's not an overnight miracle, but it will help to tone the arm and give it a nice shape.
