Ginger
An extremely popular herb with well researched therapeutic properties. The essential oil is steam distilled from the fleshy root of the ginger plant.

The oils colour can vary from pale yellow to dark amber, the scent is a delicious warm, spicy, woody scent, with hints of lemon and pepper.

I never think of essential oils as a way to improve health, I always think of them as something to put into my diffuser to make the room smell nicer :doh
