Eben Bayer presents his solution for Eco-friendly packaging, Eben is the co-inventor of MycoBond, he uses the power of mycelium, an organic, growing organism to turn agriwaste into an environmentally friendly fungus-based packaging material that protects fragile contents like furniture, electrical items, including plasma screens.

This innovative idea has the potential to change the way we package items in the future and more importantly offers us a opportunity to start protecting the planets fragile resources, whilst offering a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way of disposing our rubbish.

This looks great, so why isn't it more widely used? Why dont the governments jump on this innovative packaging and insist that companies use it.

Countries are often banging on the need to make us change our ways, tax us for environmental causes, yet they don't seem to encourage the use of alternatives either.

The government does not seem to back and promote these 'start-ups', so they rely on people like yourselves to spread the word and make it a house hold name. There also has to be a market for these components and an incentive to move from the old fashioned tried and tested method.
