Should we legalise cannabis for medicinal use?

I see this in the news a lot and studies have shown that people that have epileptic seizures multiple times in a day can be completely free of them with cannabis oil.

Why are we not legalising it if it is so beneficial to health?

I think they are not legalising it because pharmaceutical companies want you to buy their medications and the government receives billions in revenue so they pull the strings. I think it should be made legal.

I think they should definitely legalise cannabis because the oil is being sold to desperately ill families at inflated prices and if it was legal it would be more accessible to everyone
