Here is a really simple, healthy recipe for chewy Sultana cookies, a great way to allow the kids and adults to eat traditionally unhealthy food in a healthy way.

Preheat the oven to 200c

Ingredients

270g Oats
150g Sultanas
Honey - 3 heaped teaspoons
Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
4 ripe bananas (slightly spotty skin)
4 red apples

Method

Mash the bananas into a bowl
Grate the apples in the bowl
Add all of the outstanding ingredients into the bowl and give it a good stir.

Once all mixed, line a baking try with grease proof paper and add the mixture, making cookie shapes.

Place in the pre-heated oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before devouring them :sly:

I’m planning on making these today, but I think I’ll halve the ingredients in the first instance, to see if I like them, but also because it seems criminal to use all of that fruit :ykies
