:jb:This is such a simple recipe for sugar-free teething biscuits, it is quick and simple to make:jb:.
Ingredients:
1 egg
2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
Fruit puree of your choice (home made) 2-3 tablespoons
Optional topping: cinnamon powder, Parmesan cheese, zest of orange
Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
cooking time: 30 - 40 minutes
Makes: 12 biscuits
Oven temp: 180c
Preparation:
Add the flour and the baking powder to a bowl
Add the egg and fruit puree and mix it all together to form a dough.
Baking tray: Take small piece and roll it into a ball, then a sausage shape.
Flatten this out onto your baking tray to form a small rectangle that a baby can hold.
Continue until you have used up all the dough. Don't forget to leave a space between each one to allow for some expansion during the cooking stage.
If you want to, add your topping to the biscuits.
Oven: Bake in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes until golden brown and hard.
Please make sure they are fully cooled before you allow your child to hold and chew on these delicious teething biscuits.
