What household item could you not live without?

What do you use everyday in your home that you could not live without?

My first instinct is to say my iPad, but I think it is my fridge, it keeps all my produce fresher for longer and stores the majority of our food.

Is it fair to call a computer a household item? Surely most households have them?

For me, it would be my computer or iPad. I use it for work, so it earns me money, I use it for study, so it benefits my mental and social awareness, I use it for social interaction.
It's my mobile TV, my diary, my health checker....the list goes on. :encouragement:
